Conjure a Season of Peace
There is
told an iconic story
of a brutal
raging war,
massive
manmade tragedy,
suddenly
suspended as soldiers
laid down
arms to join in song.
Magic! Enchanted season
where we
imagine Peace.
Today, oh
Today, my people,
take our
pain, our pride, our
preventable
wars and tribulations,
take back
our place, our Earth,
our wilds
and fellow life. Open
eyes,
hearts, minds, to kind
regard,
respect for every self
who wanders,
wonders, hopes
to find righteous
happiness,
fields of
joy and love.
Gather our
higher sights in
Magic! Conjure with the ultimate
joy of
shared commitment.
Imagine
unending season
manifest as Earth replete in Peace.

WINTER WARMTH
On the longest night
How do you celebrate, commemorate
our nature? Living world dependent on
a circled star for light and warmth, for energy
to fuel our fate.
We bring our forests inward.
Ceremonies carry epic myth to shape
consciousness.
*
December days go fast.
Light returns slow through
white horizons. Darkening
tones
feel appropriate companions.
Sparkling peace, alone in vastness,
at one with gladness.
*
Calm before pent up congregation.
Ready to pop Hallelujahs, surge
ecstatically. World wide
exultation.
Electronic connection.
Virtual warmth.
Past fantasies’ achievement.
We weave into future beliefs,
reach forward.
Accept and demand:
We are all in this together.
Essence
Essence, scent memory
cinnamon, pine, family
wafting incense
fragrant air
redolent of antiquity's winds.
Trailing magick's mountain meadow
Hard, sharp, cragged, creviced
Exquisitely strong, enduring,
scarred,
mending, calloused, engaging
Fingertips, skin, caress manifest
existence.
Rippling bells, liquid voices drip
replenishing wine. Listen.
Reverberate back to the tribal
pool.
Dancing drum beats, symphonic
raining rivers.
Rise and quaff the choir's song.
In ritual visualize the distant
dawn.
Hearths to unseen worlds fade
before Sol's majesty.
Incandescent homunculus eyes
opening to flame,
krinkling sparks, glowing.
Powerful torches burn through dark
imagery.
Revel in flavor, mythic piquancy.
Peppery heat, sour sorrows, exotic
ebullient stew.
Wisps of buttery dreams, savory
bliss,
divine delicacies,
bittersweet ecstasy.
Winter is coming
She arrives
Glorious voice lifts up the night,
trails splendor, soft drifts of
white.
Taste delight, pure as ice, sweet
as fantasy.
Soulful reflecting safe by the
fire,
caught by flame’s magic,
aligns with the greatest of stars,
the finest of galaxies.
Wild Wind whispers “Higher, my
love; ride my mystery.”
Deep flow of desire; snow lit in
moonglow.
Reclined, widened eyes ablaze to
behold.
A fabulous sleigh swoops from
above, aglitter with glee.
She alights.
Swirl of romance, adorned in
excitement,
enchanting aroma,
clear aura of peace.
Holiday Giving
Outreaching love
Deep healing warmth
Safe harbor home
Benevolence assured
Fulfilling Hope
Affirming Joy
Abiding Peace
Hugging’s good
Laughs are fun
Relaxed in love with every one
Gifting Peace
Gifting Hope
Gifting Joy!
Merry Christmas
Happy Solstice
Every day of light and play
Every spritely holiday
Opening to heart
Cherishing each part
of the living
of the giving
Voices lilt in melody
My song I give to you:
Live in joy Live in peace Live in love
A
quiet fall
of snow
whitens night’s field.
Unwritten, clean sand
greets tomorrow’s shore.
Tomorrow is the blessed eve
Lords and Ladies, leaping,
dancing, holy abandon, ecstatic rites.
In dense, secret forest, legends gambol, rise
honorably to masters, speak sage truth.
Spirits imbue damp, fresh scent.
Words melt, evaporate, flavor brew
of ancient melodies, renewed
each Winter’s Eve.
Picture each animated creature
enlightened
Each candle warmly, brilliantly
ignited
Animated faces dance with
excitement
Creature comfort gifts encircle
trees
Enlightened pleasures whirl in Peace
